Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and property-level accounting
- Prepare and review consolidated GAAP financial statements; manage month-end and year-end close
- Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and audit readiness
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Oversee cash management, bank reconciliations, and capital expenditures
- Lead finance systems strategy, implementations, and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of accounting experience; 3+ years in a Controller or senior leadership role
- Property-level accounting experience required
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, healthcare, multifamily, or multi-site operations preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls expertise
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern accounting systems (Net Suite, Ramp, Yardi, Sage Intacct)
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
