Responsibilities of Controller:
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and maintain accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reporting packages
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data and improve reporting processes
- Assist with audit preparation and ad hoc financial projects
Preferred Skillsets of Controller:
- Sage 300 experience is a strong plus
- Background in the construction industry preferred
- Strong Excel skills and ability to manage large data sets
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
