StevenDouglas is retained on an exceptional remote Controller opportunity in the PE backed, tech space. This role can sit anywhere in the United States.
This newly created position reporting to the CFO is a “working” Controller role with a high degree of visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting and ensure timely close of books.
- Review and validate financials and KPIs to maintain accuracy and provide leadership visibility.
- Provide M&A readiness support and integration.
- Month end/ quarterly/ year-end financial statement review.
- Month-end closing procedures and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- CPA strongly preferred; ideally has the Accounting and some FP&A exposure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, open to a first time Controller Candidate.
- Experience with PE backed companies/ M&A, ideally with a public accounting foundation.
- SaaS/Learning Software/ Professional Services Delivery experience.
- Systems experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Experience with M&A integrations.
