Job Description – Controller

Reporting to: VP Finance

We are looking for a Controller to join the Finance Team at Talma Travel Solutions. The role is responsible for leading the consolidation process, supporting the global controllership function, and ensuring accurate financial reporting accordance with IFRS. The Controller will work closely with the finance teams in Israel and abroad, external auditors, and senior management to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Lead the consolidation process, including the preparation of consolidation workpapers, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Work closely with external auditors throughout the reporting and audit process
  • Coordinate and support financial reporting activities
  • Ensure consistent accounting treatment and reporting standards across all entities
  • Prepare tax reporting packages and support the preparation of corporate tax returns
  • Review financial results and perform analytical procedures
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and internal controls
  • Support finance-related projects and perform ad hoc financial analyses as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA certification – Required
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or in a financial reporting/accounting role
  • Hands-on experience with consolidated financial statements – Required
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS – Required
  • Experience working with external auditors
  • Experience in preparing tax reports
  • Experience working closely with finance departments in Israel and abroad
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) – Required
  • Experience with ERP systems (Priority, SAP, Oracle, or similar) – Advantage
