We are partnering with a rapidly growing organization seeking a strong Controller to lead the accounting function and support the company's continued expansion. Growth is being driven through both organic initiatives and acquisitions, making this an exciting opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys building processes, improving efficiencies, and helping scale a business.
Please note: This is an onsite position, five days per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day accounting function, including the month-end close and financial reporting
- Oversee the general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Manage the annual audit and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors
- Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
- Oversee cash management and support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance the accounting function
- Participate in acquisition activities, including financial due diligence, integration, and the accounting for newly acquired businesses
- Support the company as it continues to scale through both organic growth and M&A
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Partner with executive leadership on financial and operational initiatives
Qualifications
- CPA required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience with ownership of the close process and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial report
- Experience managing audits and working with external accounting firms
- Experience in a multi-entity environment is preferred
- ERP experience required; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Experience supporting acquisitions, integration efforts, or other high-growth initiatives is a plus
- Manufacturing, distribution, or other operational industry experience is preferred
- A proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys improving processes, building teams, and helping organizations scale
- Must be comfortable working onsite five days per week
