KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing world class support to numerous teams across the firm, including the trading desk, investor relations, finance and fund management teams across BCC investment platforms
Ensure the trading desk has the most up-to-date investment holdings data to buy or sell assets externally
Daily monitoring and processing of portfolio activity including corporate bond activity, internal & external CLO events, asset-backed security transactions, mortgage-backed security transactions, and equity activities.
Collaborate with fellow team members to provide robust support across the firm
Build, manage, and enhance relationships with other internal teams and external partners
Gain exposure to a world renown asset management firm and how it executes its day-to-day operations
DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION
1-2 years of fixed income experience preferred
Exposure to any of the following asset classes preferred – bonds, ABS, MBS, CLO paper, preferred equity
Exposure to the portfolio accounting system Advent Geneva preferred
Proficiency in Bloomberg preferred
Exposure to syndicated and/or private credit bank loans a plus
Proficiency in Excel
3.3 GPA or higher

An eagerness to further develop one’s own skills and the drive to expand one’s knowledge of the fixed income trading environment.

Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Robust interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm

Ability to read and decipher complex legal documents
