Position: Comptroller – 12 month
Our manufacturing client is seeking a Part-Time Comptroller to join our team as the current Comptroller transitions into retirement. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity while providing strategic financial oversight to a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Review monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with Canadian GAAP
Provide strategic financial guidance related to budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and overall business performance
Oversee corporate tax filings, SR& ED claims, and regulatory compliance including HST and payroll
Support financial planning and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial insights
Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and operational improvements Qualifications
CPA designation with 10+ years of senior accounting or finance leadership experience
Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP, corporate tax, and financial reporting
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
Strong analytical, communication, and advisory skills
