Job Context
As a Compliance Unit-Officer within the Internal Control and Compliance Division, the incumbent’s primary responsibility is to support the organization's regulatory compliance and governance activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance framework of a Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) while contributing to the organization's commitment to sound governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibility
- Ensuring submission of responses to inquiries from regulatory organizations within the stipulated timeframe
- Collaborating with external regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders when needed concerning regulatory inspection, inquiries, external audit, and so on
- Performing AML/CFT compliance program activities within the organization: Timely submission of Cash Transaction Report, reviewing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) arising from loan and deposit transactions, and escalating findings to the Chief Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CAMLCO)
- Preparation of Audit Committee agenda, relevant materials, and performing follow-up activities
- Follow up compliance on regulatory inspection observations
- Timely update of regulatory circular database in IDLC Intranet platform and sharing with internal stakeholders
- Maintaining updated MIS as required for reporting different compliance figures to the Audit Committee, regulators, and/or internal stakeholders
- Prompt escalation and delivery of information as required by regulatory inspection teams in coordination with other departments during regulatory inspection
Job Requirements
Education
Graduation from a reputed university (with a minimum CGPA of 3)
Experience
Fresher (Preferable), maximum 2 years of experience
