Alpa BDF, the official representative of Beiersdorf in Israel, representing leading brands such as NIVEA and Labello, is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial management and control of commercial activities in close partnership with the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Own the commercial P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and profitability analysis.
- Analyze customer and channel profitability and provide actionable business insights.
- Drive pricing, trade promotion, and commercial investment analyses to support business growth and profitability.
- Prepare management reports, financial presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial governance standards.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and business analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field – mandatory. MBA or Master's degree – an advantage.
- 5-8 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Controlling, or Business Analysis.
- Experience in FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods industries – a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of revenue drivers, including pricing, trade promotions, commercial agreements, product mix, and customer profitability.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
