A high-growth fashion and ecommerce business is recruiting an Interim Commercial Finance Director to support the CFO during a period of transition, international expansion and continued finance development.
The business has scaled rapidly and is now entering its next phase of growth, including international expansion, retail development and broader finance transformation. Finance is central to improving visibility, strengthening decision-making and building the processes needed to support future growth.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly take ownership of commercial finance and FP&A, provide continuity across the function and support senior leadership with clear, actionable insight.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes • Maintaining and improving complex financial models • Producing weekly trading reports, monthly FP&A packs and senior leadership reporting • Delivering variance analysis and commercial insight across performance, profitability and growth initiatives • Supporting decision-making across Commercial, Marketing, Operations and Finance • Acting as a trusted FP&A and commercial finance partner to the CFO • Supporting process improvement, reporting development and finance projects
The successful candidate will combine strong FP&A capability with commercial judgement, excellent analytical skills and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
You will have significant FP&A and commercial finance experience, ideally gained within consumer, retail, ecommerce, marketplace or another high-growth environment. Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability are essential, including experience managing large and complex planning models. You will be comfortable working with imperfect data, translating analysis into clear recommendations and partnering senior stakeholders with confidence.
