Client Onboarding Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for a Client Onboarding Analyst opportunity with a global financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Client Onboarding Analyst will support the onboarding of new clients by coordinating documentation, tracking onboarding progress, and partnering with internal teams to ensure accounts are opened efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of client onboarding, operations, or middle office experience within financial services and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a 12-month contract position paying between $40-$43/hour (depending on experience).
This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week. Candidates must be local to the Greater Boston area and willing to work three days per week onsite in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Support the onboarding of new client accounts from start to finish.
- Collect, review, and organize client onboarding documentation.
- Track onboarding progress and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Credit, Compliance, AML/KYC, and Legal teams to ensure timely account setup.
- Prepare onboarding packages, status updates, and information requests for clients and internal teams.
- Maintain onboarding records, workflow trackers, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with account setup, onboarding readiness, and post-onboarding requests.
- Identify and help resolve onboarding issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of client onboarding, operations, middle office, or related financial services experience.
- Experience supporting capital markets, derivatives, prime brokerage, securities finance, or other institutional investment products preferred.
- Familiarity with account opening, AML/KYC, and client onboarding processes within financial services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple business teams.
