Position Overview
Oxus Finance is seeking an experienced and strategically-minded Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) to oversee the company's comprehensive financial operations, execute financial planning initiatives, and drive long-term operational growth strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership capabilities, deep expertise in financial management, and a solid background in corporate finance, investment operations, and organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all financial operations and corporate finance activities
Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and treasury management functions
Develop scalable financial operational systems and internal control mechanisms
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and financial reporting standards
Drive improvements in operational efficiency and optimize financial performance
Collaborate with the senior management team to advance strategic growth initiatives
Manage risk assessment, capital allocation, and investment oversight
Lead and supervise the accounting, finance, and operations management teams
Assist with activities related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), fundraising, and investor relations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred)
Minimum of 20 years of experience in financial management and related roles
Proven track record of senior executive leadership within the financial services, banking, investment management, or multinational corporate sectors
Deep expertise in corporate finance, operational strategy, and financial governance
Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational leadership skills
Experience managing large-scale financial operations and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Background in investment banking, FinTech, private equity, or asset management
Experience in international finance and cross-market operational management is a plus
Profound understanding of financial system modernization and strategic transformation initiatives
