We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Senior Director of Finance for one of our invested portfolio companies as follows:
- Location: HCMC
- Report to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
- Company Profile: A high-growth Startup (A Portfolio Company backed by TVS)
JOB PURPOSE
As a hands-on System Builder in a dynamic startup environment, the CFO/Senior Director of Finance will partner with the CEO to build financial operations from scratch, tighten internal controls, optimize cash flow, and drive capital efficiency to support business scaling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Startup System Building: Build, standardize, and scale financial management, accounting frameworks, and internal control systems from the ground up.
- Financial Governance & Gatekeeping: Oversee working capital, inventory, and cost structures. Act as a firm gatekeeper—ready to say "No" to unviable commercial plans.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead the fundraising process, manage financial modeling, and directly interface with investors (including the TVS network).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Accounting/Auditing.
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CFA) are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager/Director/CFO, and experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Prior experience in Big 4 and a track record in investor-facing roles are preferred.
- Core Mindset: A strong problem-solver first and a fast learner. Possess a startup mindset—highly resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, and adaptable to shifting industry dynamics.
- Personality: Solid, reliable, and highly principled in wealth protection. Possess sharp critical thinking and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Professional fluency in English.
