We are partnering with a high-growth, privately owned property platform undergoing a significant commercial transformation. Backed by a committed shareholder base and an expanding development pipeline, the business has created a CFO role to help scale the platform for its next phase of growth.
This role works hand-in-glove with the CEO, acting as a true commercial partner across funding, development, performance and governance.
The opportunity
- Newly created role as part of a broader finance and operating model transformation
- Leadership responsibility for an established finance team (~15)
- Exposure to complex capital structures, active development and portfolio growth
- Meaningful influence over strategy, systems, controls and decision-making
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance function, lifting capability and accountability
- Act as a close strategic partner to the CEO across capital strategy and performance
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis across the portfolio
- Support development feasibilities, investment decisions and delivery outcomes
- Play a central role in strengthening governance, controls, risk and reporting
About you
- A seasoned senior finance leader (CFO level)
- Strong background in property, ideally residential development or closely aligned sectors
- Deep experience in debt financing and capital markets is essential
- Commercial, hands-on and comfortable operating in a fast-evolving environment
- Proven people leader with experience managing and motivating larger teams
- Energised by transformation, growth and building scalable platforms
