Role Description

This is a full-time leadership role for a Chief Business Officer (CBO).

The CBO will own and drive:

  • Execution across the company
  • Revenue pipeline and closing
  • Business operations (execution layer)

This role works directly with the Founder & CEO to turn strategy into outcomes, ensuring alignment across product, marketing, and business development.

This is not a purely strategic role this is a builder-operator role with direct responsibility for results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution engine of the company, driving weekly priorities across teams
  • Own the full revenue lifecycle: pipeline creation, partnerships, sponsorships, and closing
  • Run day-to-day business operations (execution layer) ensuring delivery and accountability
  • Drive business development efforts to secure strategic partnerships and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to align roadmap with business impact
  • Manage cross-functional contributors and ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Establish and track KPIs across revenue, growth, and execution

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, revenue generation, and closing deals
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to translate into execution
  • Background in startups, consulting, or high-growth environments
  • Experience in financial planning, revenue strategy, or operational leadership
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Strong leadership, ownership mindset, and bias for action
  • Experience in sports, marketplaces, or sponsorship ecosystems is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with data-driven or AI-enabled platforms is a plus
