Position: Chartered Accountant (CA) | CA – City Deep
Key Responsibilities
– Full financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
– Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
– Cash flow and working‑capital management
– Oversight of cost accounting and operational expenditure
– Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and internal controls
– Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors
– Providing financial insights and recommendations to leadership
– Assisting with financial modelling and business‑case analysis for sustainability projects
Requirements
– CA(SA) qualification (essential)
– 13 years post‑articles experience (preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, recycling, or an industrial environment)
– Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)
– Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast‑paced and operationally intensive setting
