We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Finance / CFO to lead and manage the financial strategy, operations, and investment activities for this dynamic and sophisticated organization. This executive will play a critical role in preserving and growing the family’s wealth, while ensuring alignment with long-term goals and values.
Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance / CFO will oversee all financial and operational aspects of the family office. This includes strategic financial planning, investment oversight, risk management, and relationship management with banks, advisors, and other partners. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in complex financial environments and a strong ability to advise and communicate with high-net-worth stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the family’s objectives
Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Manage asset allocation, monitor investment performance, and evaluate new opportunities
Lead financial due diligence for direct and indirect investments and manage transaction processes
Serve as the primary liaison with banks, investment partners, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders
Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations; lead tax planning and risk mitigation efforts
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and governance processes
Provide clear and timely financial updates to family members and decision-makers
Foster a culture of financial stewardship, transparency, and operational excellence
Qualifications
Extensive experience in a senior financial leadership role within a family office, private equity firm, or similar investment-focused organization
Proven track record in financial strategy, investment management, and operational leadership
Strong understanding of asset management, estate and tax planning, and regulatory compliance
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable operating in high-trust, discreet environments with high-net-worth individuals
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or other advanced credentials preferred
