We are hiring a CFO — Noctra
Noctra is building next-generation AI infrastructure for real-time situational awareness and decision-making across defence, security, and critical infrastructure. Our core systems, IRONLIGHT and ATLAS, combine sensor fusion, AI-driven analysis, and operational command into a unified platform.
We are now looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join us at an early stage and take ownership of capital strategy, financial architecture, and investor engagement as we move into our pre-seed and seed phases.
This is not a traditional CFO role. We are looking for someone who can operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and deep technology, and who wants to help build a company from first principles.
In the early phase, this role will be structured as an external position until we have completed our pre-seed round. After that, there may be an opportunity to evolve the role further depending on mutual fit, company needs, and financing progress.
What you will be responsible for:
• Leading capital raising across Norway, Europe, and potentially the US
• Structuring and executing pre-seed and seed rounds
• Building and owning financial models such as runway, burn, ARR, and scenario planning
• Defining and managing capital strategy and fundraising timing
• Working closely with founders on investor narrative and positioning
• Structuring cap table, equity programs, and long-term ownership strategy
• Supporting company structuring across jurisdictions as we scale
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience with venture capital fundraising in startup or growth-stage environments
• Strong financial modeling and strategic finance capabilities
• Experience working with international investors and cross-border structures
• Ability to translate complex technology into clear financial narratives
• High ownership mindset and ability to operate in an early-stage environment
• Preference for candidates with exposure to deeptech, AI, or defence-related sectors
