This is a role for a real recovery professional. Someone who is firm on the money and warm with people. Someone who hears "I will pay next week" and turns it into "paid today," without ever making a client feel chased.
What you will do
• Own our accounts receivable and follow every outstanding invoice through to paid.
• Run the full recovery process: reminders, calls, WhatsApp, and a personal visit when that moves things faster.
• Collect on the day. If a client cannot do a bank transfer right now, you find the route that works, including going to collect in person.
• Agree clear, dated payment plans when a client genuinely needs one.
• Keep a clean, current view of what is owed and report it every week.
• Protect the client relationship at every step. Recovery done well keeps clients, it does not lose them.
What we are looking for
• Experience in debt recovery, credit control or collections, ideally from a finance or hire purchase background.
• A track record of actually collecting, not just chasing.
• Calm under pressure, a strong negotiator, and completely trustworthy with cash.
• Fluent in Kreol, comfortable in English and French.
• Organized, good with numbers, and driven by results.
• Based mainly at our office, ready to go into the field to collect when needed. A car licence is a plus.
You will work closely with our finance lead and report directly to her. Your success is simple to measure: money in, relationships intact.
