Role Overview
PAYALLY GLOBAL is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Cards & e-commerce Operations Specialist to support the development, onboarding, and smooth operation of our card issuing and acquiring solutions. This role acts as the primary bridge between PAYALLY’s internal teams, processors, payment partners.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payment systems and card scheme requirements. This role focuses on technical coordination, troubleshooting, payments expertise, and ensuring seamless card product integrations.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse, and automate regular reporting for regulators, card schemes, and management, delivering insights into operational performance, compliance matters, card programme activity, and key business metrics while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Support card product integrations, authorisations and settlement flows, 3DS, tokenisation.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, analyse logs, and provide solutions to internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain accurate integration documentation, test cases, and onboarding workflows.
- Work closely with technology teams, processors, and scheme partners to ensure smooth configuration, testing, and deployment of card and acquiring solutions.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Relationship Managers and other teams to ensure integrations meet regulatory and scheme requirements.
- Assist in the improvement of internal tools, processes, and technical documentation.
- Provide subject matter expertise on card issuing and acquiring processes (authorisation, clearing, chargebacks, fraud controls).
- Support ongoing maintenance, updates, and performance monitoring of card transactions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in payments, card issuing or reporting.
- Knowledge of card scheme processes (Visa/Mastercard), including 3DS, tokenisation, risk signals, and settlement flows.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to break down technical issues and coordinate solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team work.
- Ability to manage multiple integration projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, collaborative approach combined with high ethical standards.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to influence at a high level. Additional languages would be an advantage.
- Highly adaptable, self-driven, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and evolving landscape.
