HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Capital Management is responsible for managing the divisions capital position and resourcing needs on an ongoing basis. The team works with divisional businesses to both monitor their capital usage and advise on solutions to increase their operating efficiency. In addition, during the annual CCAR stress testing cycle, the team is responsible for coordinating projections for revenues, balance sheet, and RWAs across the division’s business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Initiatives: You will help the team optimize the divisions resource consumption and drive capital and funding efficiencies through assessing the capital implications of individual trades, regulatory implementations and developing hedging strategies.
Stress Testing: You will help to project divisional revenues using a variety of modelling techniques, coordinate the completion of firm reporting templates, and present summaries to both the firmwide Stress Testing Committee and regulatory groups such as the Federal Reserve.
Documentation: You will assist in compiling documentation for CCAR, including process and methodology, summary of results, and challenge and approval process
Reporting and Analysis: You will complete periodic reviews of businesses capital usage, including developing strategies for optimizing their resource consumption and presenting these to heads of the relevant businesses
Technology Implementation – You will assist with the testing and implementation of technology tools to help collect, store and report on capital data; Develop and enhance reporting dashboards in Qlikview, Power BI and Tableau

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 – 4 years of experience in a financial analysis, financial modelling, project management, process improvement, or regulatory type role
Analytical mind-set with an ability to manipulate data and perform detail oriented work
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Results-oriented
– ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term, strategic focus
Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, driving consensus and influencing outcomes
Strong organizational skills
Commercial and creative approach to situations
Self-motivated and can work well under pressure
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Quantitative background is preferred
Prior experience with stress testing and capital planning (eg CCAR) is not required, but would be a bonus

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
