Responsibilities:
- Serve as the strategic Business Human Capital partner to the PGCEO’s & Chairman’s Office and Group Islamic Banking, shaping people and organisation agendas that directly enable business outcomes and ROAR30 priorities.
- Translate business strategy into clear organisation, workforce and talent choices, spanning organisation design, capability mix, productivity and leadership effectiveness.
- Lead end‑to‑end performance management, talent review and succession processes, ensuring high standards, differentiation and leadership accountability.
- Drive culture transformation and employee engagement, embedding a Whole‑of‑Maybank culture anchored on the TIGER values and six key behaviours across leadership and teams.
- Partner closely with business leaders to diagnose people and organisation issues, design pragmatic solutions, and personally drive execution on the ground.
- Shape future ready workforce strategies, including workforce planning, critical skills development, talent acquisition and learning interventions.
- Advise leaders on Total Rewards, promotions and recognition, ensuring outcomes reinforce performance, behaviours and long-term value creation.
- Oversee key Business Human Capital operations, employee relations and governance, ensuring disciplined execution, risk management and consistent employee experience.
- Act as a catalyst for change, combining strategic insight, strong judgement and hands on delivery to move the organisation forward.
Requirement:
- Holding a senior role in Human Capital, management consulting, or a comparable strategic role, with strong exposure to business facing HR or transformation work.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategy and execution levels, comfortable engaging senior leaders while rolling up sleeves to deliver outcomes.
- Strong grounding in organisation design, workforce planning, performance management and talent processes.
- Proven experience driving culture, engagement and change in complex, matrixed organisations.
- High business acumen with the ability to connect people decisions to financial, productivity and performance impact.
- Confident, credible and influential communicator, able to challenge constructively and build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Highly resilient, agile and outcomes driven; thrives in ambiguity and fast paced environments.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Advanced working proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with ability to distil complex issues into clear, decision ready insights
