Job Description: SVP & Business Head – Digital Enterprise Platforms & Channels (Eastern Hemisphere)

Exp-17-27
Mandatory-Exp in Digital Banking and PnL management
Role Overview
As the SVP & Business Head, you will be the chief architect of growth and profitability for our Digital Enterprise Platforms (DEP) and Digital Channels business across the Eastern Hemisphere.
This is a full P&L ownership role ($100M+ portfolio) requiring a leader who can bridge the gap between "legacy core banking" and the "future of agentic, embedded finance." You will lead a high-performance organization to position us as the transformation partner of choice for Tier-1 banks and Tier-0 Fintechs.
Core Responsibilities
1. P&L & Commercial Stewardship
- End-to-End P&L Ownership: Drive revenue, gross margins, and EBIT for the Eastern Hemisphere.
- Model Innovation: Shift from traditional "services" revenue to high-margin Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and API-based annuity streams.
- Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations for complex, multi-year transformation deals, ensuring commercial viability and risk mitigation.
2. Digital Channel & DEP Strategy
- Agentic Experience Design: Drive the shift from GUI to Agentic AI interfaces, where autonomous agents handle complex customer journeys.
- Embedded Finance: Build the GTM for Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), integrating banking capabilities into regional Super-Apps (e.g., Grab, Careem, PhonePe).
- Optichannel Orchestration: Implement predictive AI routing to ensure customers engage through the most cost-effective, high-conversion channel in real-time.
3. Strategic GTM & Market Expansion
- Regional Roadmap: Define 3-year growth strategies for high-potential corridors (e.g., GCC, Southeast Asia, and India).
- Ecosystem Alliances: Strengthen "Co-sell" motions with hyper-scalers (AWS/Azure) and core-banking platforms (Temenos, Mambu, Thought Machine).
4. CXO Relationship Leadership
- Strategic Advisor: Act as a "Trusted Partner" to Bank CEOs, CTOs, and COOs, guiding their board-level digital agendas.
- Eminence: Represent the organization at major regional forums (e.g., Singapore Fintech Festival, ADGM/DIFC events).
5. Practice & Talent Building
- High-Performance Culture: Recruit and mentor a multi-disciplinary team across Sales, Digital Architecture, and Delivery.
- Digital Factory Model: Establish "Digital Factories" that allow clients to move from "concept to code" in weeks rather than months.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- Tenure: 15–27 years in BFSI, Fintech, or Digital Consulting.
- P&L Success: Proven history of managing a $20 M+ P&L with consistent double-digit growth.
- Domain Mastery: Deep expertise in Core Banking Modernization, Digital Wallets, Real-time Payments (UPI/Aani), and Cloud-native architectures.
Leadership Competencies
- Digital Native: You view AI and Cloud as the default, not an "add-on."
- Commercial Acumen: Expertise in "Value-based Pricing" and outcome-linked commercial models.
- Cultural Intelligence: Ability to navigate the diverse business etiquettes of the APAC and MEA regions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Total Revenue & Margin: Achievement of annual topline and bottom-line targets.
- Platform Multiplier: Increase in revenue derived from DEP (Platform)
- Digital Adoption: Success of channel strategies measured by end-user migration to AI-led platforms.
- Customer LTV: Expansion of wallet share within key global accounts.
