Context
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst on behalf of one of our clients, a leading French investment bank, based in New York City.
You'll be embedded within a fast-paced financial services environment, acting as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive systems improvement and process efficiency.
Role
- Elicit and document business and systems requirements across multiple business units
- Design and implement project management plans with clear communication at every stage
- Conduct quality assurance reviews throughout the full systems development lifecycle
- Partner cross-functionally with teams in sales, finance, security, and compliance
- Perform ongoing systems analytics, troubleshoot issues, and deliver monthly status reports
- Produce and maintain internal and external technical documentation
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide data-backed recommendations to senior leadership
Profile
- 5–9 years of experience in a Business Analysis or systems development role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management
- Solid analytical mindset with experience translating data into actionable insights
- Hands-on experience generating process documentation and functional reports
- Familiarity with Business Objects and ITIL Foundations
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable engaging with technical, managerial, and executive audiences
- Experience in financial services is a strong plus
