Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping transform business needs into effective solutions that deliver value across the Bank.
Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will be responsible for understanding business challenges, eliciting and analysing requirements, and supporting the delivery of solutions that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, problem solver, and team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that create value for both the business and its customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges and opportunities.
- Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements using appropriate techniques.
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for technology teams.
- Collaborate with technology teams, vendors and stakeholders to design solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Design, coordinate and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) ensuring solutions meet the expected outcome.
- Support issue analysis, resolution and re-testing.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Act as a trusted liaison between business and technology, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Analysis practices, standards and templates.
Candidate Profile
- Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
- A postgraduate degree and/or professional Business Analysis certification will be considered an advantage.
- At least two years of experience in a Business Analyst, System Analyst or related role.
- Experience in requirement elicitation, analysis and documentation.
- Experience in preparing business requirements, functional specifications, process models or related artifacts.
- Experience in working on technology-driven projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector will be considered an advantage.
- Understanding of Business Analysis principles, methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to gather, analyse and translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and change management processes.
- Familiarity with process modelling and workflow design.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Attentive to detail, organised and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
