JOB SUMMARY
As a Business Analyst at DirectFN, you will serve as a vital link between Client’s business stakeholders and technical teams. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable insights and specifications. In collaboration with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and UX/UI Designers, you will ensure that our products align with market needs, customer expectations, and business objectives within the capital markets industry.
Key Responsibilities
1- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to identify business needs and analyze objectives, developing requirements that align with company goals.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather in-depth insights into user needs, workflows, and preferences. Use samples and mock-ups to support these interactions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
2- Data Analysis & Market Research
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and user data to inform product development and strategic direction.
- Work with sales teams to define metrics, gather user insights, and assess product performance.
- Provide actionable insights based on data to influence product features, enhancements, and overall improvements.
3- Product Development Support
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements, timelines, and priorities.
- Assist in defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases to support the product development process.
- Participate in sprint planning and review sessions, addressing any clarifications needed on business requirements.
4- User Testing & Validation
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans, identify key scenarios, and validate features against established requirements.
- Conduct user testing sessions, gather feedback, and ensure that outcomes align with business objectives.
- Track and resolve issues, suggesting solutions to enhance product functionality and user experience.
5- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and ensure alignment across product teams.
- Maintain and update requirements documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or any related field.
· Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within financial services, capital markets, or fintech environments.
· Language Proficiency: Fluent in English spoken and written

· Data Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools) and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
· Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Requirements Accuracy: Achieve a 95% accuracy rate in documented business requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.

· User Satisfaction: Attain user satisfaction scores of 85% or higher from user testing and feedback sessions.
· Process Efficiency: Identify and implement at least two process improvements annually to enhance the efficiency of the business analysis workflow.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain a stakeholder engagement rating of 90% or higher, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
