We are seeking an experienced OMS Business Analyst to join VISEO Japan. You will play a key role in delivering enterprise-scale omnichannel and OMS implementations, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
You will work closely with clients, project managers, architects, and developers to gather requirements, define functional specifications, support testing, and ensure high-quality delivery across complex OMS landscapes
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across eCommerce, retail, supply chain, customer service, logistics, finance, and IT.
- Conduct workshops and gap analysis to translate business needs into end‑to‑end OMS functional solutions.
- Produce Detailed Functional Specifications (DFS) that serve as the foundation for technical design and development.
- Ensure alignment between functional specifications and technical designs produced by development and architecture teams.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario definition, execution support, and issue resolution.
- Participate in effort estimation during functional assessment phases when required.
- Ensure delivery follows VISEO project governance, SDLC standards, and client quality expectations
- Monitor milestones, scope, and deliverable quality to ensure commitments are met on time and within budget.
- Act as a trusted functional advisor to Japanese and regional stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and steering discussions with clarity and professionalism.
- Support change management by helping users understand, adopt, and embrace new OMS solutions.
PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong exposure to:
oOrder Management Systems (OMS)
oOmnichannel retail and eCommerce transformations
- Hands-on experience in OMS platforms (e.g., Fluent Commerce or equivalent) is a strong advantage, as reflected in VISEO OMS projects
- Strong understanding of:
oOrder lifecycle management
oInventory & sourcing logic
- oFulfilment orchestration (Click & Collect, Ship‑from‑Store, Home Delivery, Returns)
- oIntegration with ERP, WMS, eCommerce, and CRM systems
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to challenge and improve proposed solutions.
- Client‑focused mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel in a fast‑paced consulting environment
- Strong documentation and facilitation skills (workshops, committees, and reviews)
- Japanese: Business to native level (mandatory for client-facing delivery in Japan)
- English: Business level (interaction with regional and global teams)
