Budgeting & Reporting Manager – Qatar
We are seeking an experienced Budgeting & Reporting Manager to lead the budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting functions for a leading government organization in Qatar
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process across departments
- Monitor financial performance and perform budget vs. actual variance analysis
- Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and performance reviews
- Develop financial forecasts, trends, and scenario analyses to support decision-making
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and cost centre reporting
- Drive reporting improvements, process optimization, and ERP-related initiatives
- Support banking activities, including guarantees and bonds
- Lead and develop the finance team while ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or ICAEW preferre
- Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience within the last 5 years
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and variance analysis
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Candidates must currently be based in Qatar
- Arabic language skills will be an added advantage
