About the Role

B.P. Wharton is a dynamic and rapidly expanding property development and investment group with a strong project pipeline across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. As our business grows, we are urgently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Office Manager to join our team in a varied, hands-on role supporting both our financial and operational functions.

This is a genuine opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, project-driven environment where no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts management
  • BAS preparation, bank reconciliations and liaison with external accountants
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • General office administration and operational support
  • Coordination with consultants, suppliers and internal teams
  • Assisting management with a range of operational tasks

What We're Looking For

  • Proven bookkeeping and accounts experience
  • Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive
  • Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Trustworthy and comfortable handling sensitive financial information
  • Experience in property, construction or real estate is a plus — but not essential
