Select is partnering with our client to recruit a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring everything balances correctly.

Compensation &

Hours:

  • The rate of pay will be $55,000–$60,000/year, depending on experience
  • Full-time, temporary position with potential for permanent
  • Monday to Friday, daytime hours

Position Summary:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial reports as needed
  • Record journal entries and ensure data accuracy
  • Monitor transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Support month-end and year-end processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial record-keeping
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Bonus Points For:

  • Education in Accounting or a related field
  • Experience with payroll or tax-related processes
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis
