Do you enjoy taking ownership of finance in a business where your work actually influences decisions?
A modern, fast growing boutique law firm is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team and play a key role in managing and shaping their financial operations.
This is not your typical “keep the books ticking over” role, you’ll be working closely with leadership, providing insights, improving systems, and helping drive the business forward.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for the firm’s day to day and strategic financial function, including:
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Trust accounting (legal compliance)
- Monthly reporting (P&L, balance sheet)
- Budgeting, forecasting & financial planning
- Payroll (including split payroll arrangements)
- Tax and regulatory compliance support
- Financial analysis & business insights
- Systems improvement (including Xero)
About You
You’re not just detail oriented, you’re commercially aware and proactive.
- 5+ years’ bookkeeping experience
- Legal industry experience (highly regarded)
- Strong Xero capability
- Solid understanding of trust accounting requirements
- Confident communicator across all levels
- Process driven with a continuous improvement mindset
