Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting, and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking experienced Business Analysts for consulting opportunities with a financial services client. These roles are focused on large-scale Banking and Merger Integration initiatives across various business lines. The teams are looking for professionals with experience leading cross-functional projects in highly regulated environments, particularly those involving enterprise transformation, regulatory initiatives, operational risk, and merger integration efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Support large-scale banking merger integration workstreams across enterprise business units
- Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, technology teams, and business units across banking and risk/compliance initiatives
- Translate complex business processes into functional specifications, workflows, user stories, process maps, system requirements, and operational procedures
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle activities including data analysis, testing coordination, defect resolution, implementation support, and post-production validation within regulated environments
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between business leaders, auditors, compliance teams, and technical resources to ensure successful delivery of enterprise risk, regulatory, and operational
Qualifications:
- Ability to work for a 9–12-month consulting engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within banking or financial services environments preferred, but open to other sectors
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation, merger integration, or conversion initiatives within regulated environments
- Strong experience documenting business requirements, process flows, controls, functional specifications, data mapping, and operational workflows
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, SharePoint, or similar tools
- Atlanta, Columbus, Nashville, Charlotte preferred, but will consider other locations with the ability to be onsite periodically
