Job Responsibilities:
Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
Identify and assess audit risks, and develop appropriate audit strategies.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legislation to ensure compliance and best practices.
Assist in business development activities, including networking and
client relationship
management.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
Proven experience in audit, within a practice environment.
Strong knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards.
Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills
.
Effective communication
and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated
leadership
abilities and experience in managing teams.
