Our client, a top 10 UK accountancy firm and the largest SME practice, is looking for an Audit Senior to join their team in Newcastle.
The Opportunity As an Audit Senior , you will:
? Take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager
? Assist in delivering revenue and profitability targets
? Develop strong and lasting client relationships
Key Responsibilities
?? Lead audit fieldwork, substantive testing, and analytical procedures, often on-site at client premises
?? Plan and complete audit assignments, ensuring appropriate documentation
?? Prepare statutory financial statements and identify high-risk areas or concerns for Partner/Manager review
?? Execute and finalize audit assignments for management review
What Were Looking For? British nationals or candidates with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) will only be considered
? Minimum 4-5 years of practice experience in audit
? Working knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP
? ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification
? Experience auditing clients across various industries
? Ability to coach and mentor junior team members
