At Rimbun, we work on some of the most complex and high-impact corporate recovery and restructuring mandates in Malaysia. Our engagements span distressed real estate, corporate restructuring, and asset recovery for financial institutions and government-linked entities.
We are expanding our team and are looking for driven, analytical, and commercially minded professionals to join us at both Associate and Senior Associate levels.
Scope
You will be directly involved in live restructuring and insolvency mandates, including:
- Corporate insolvency (liquidations, receiverships, special management)
- Judicial management and schemes of arrangement
- Distressed asset realisation and recovery strategies
- Stakeholder management (creditors, banks, regulators, legal counsel)
- Financial analysis, investigations, and reporting
- Court-related processes and documentation
Associate – Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Interest in insolvency, restructuring, and special situations
Senior Associate – Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in insolvency, restructuring, audit, corporate finance, or legal practice
- Prior exposure to liquidation, receivership, or restructuring assignments preferred
- Ability to manage workstreams independently
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial judgment and problem-solving ability
