The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading North American financial institution to hire a first or second-year Associate for its New York-based Power & Renewables Credit team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established platform with a strong reputation in energy transition financing and gain exposure to a broad range of complex transactions across the power and renewable energy sector. The team is a market leader in providing financing solutions across renewable energy and infrastructure assets, including utility-scale solar, onshore and offshore wind, battery energy storage, transmission, and other power-related investments. The role offers significant deal exposure, the opportunity to work closely with senior team members and clients, and a strong platform for long-term career growth.
About the Role
- Support the underwriting and execution of power and renewable energy financings throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Build and analyze financial models, conduct credit analysis, and evaluate complex financing opportunities
- Assist with structuring and execution of project finance, acquisition financings, refinancings, and corporate lending transactions
- Prepare credit memorandums and materials for senior management and credit committees
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, power & renewables lending, leveraged finance, or credit investing
- Strong financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction execution skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Based in New York or willing to relocate
