Sowena Group are partnered with a leading, growing, CF boutique in the search for an experienced Associate Director to play a key role in originating and executing transactions. This is a hands-on position requiring end-to-end deal involvement, strong financial modelling capability, and the ability to manage client relationships and junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution
- Lead and manage transactions from origination through to completion
- Oversee preparation of marketing materials including IMs, teasers, and presentations
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage external advisors (legal, financial, tax)
- Support negotiations and deal structuring alongside senior leadership
- Maintain control of timelines, deliverables, and client communication throughout
Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Build and review complex financial models (valuation, LBO, DCF, merger models)
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and scenario modelling
- Lead valuation workstreams and provide strategic insights to clients
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key day-to-day contact for clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, sponsors, and investors
- Support senior team in pitches and business development initiatives
Origination & Business Development
- Contribute to deal origination through market research and relationship development
- Assist in preparing pitch materials and presenting to prospective clients
- Identify opportunities within existing client base
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates
- Review workstreams to ensure high-quality output
- Support team development and contribute to a strong internal culture
