Skymont Capital (the “Company”) is a fast-growing real estate private equity investment management company headquartered in Singapore with offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City. The Company is seeking an investment professional to join at the Associate Director position to assist the Company in its investment activities in the Japan market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the deal sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and execution of private equity (including real estate) investment opportunities across a wide spectrum of investment strategies
- Monitor and manage portfolio investments
- Contribute and participate in various business development and growth initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience analyzing financial statements to evaluate corporate acquisitions. A background in accounting, audit, or transaction advisory services is highly desirable. The role requires the ability to perform due diligence, identify financial risks and opportunities, and model the financial impact of potential acquisitions
- Bilingual communication and written skills in English and Japanese
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a role requiring deep financial statement analysis for M&A, such as Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), audit (with relevant client exposure), investment banking, or private equity
- Demonstrated ability to move beyond recording financial data to performing strategic analysis for investment decisions
- Excellent team player, with resilience and strong incentive to succeed in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
