Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver solutions to optimize the Group/Bank’s capital base and support strategic growth.
- Raise funding for the Group/Bank to meet liquidity needs and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on the Group/Bank’s capital base.
- Support other initiatives undertaken by Group Corporate Treasury to ensure outcomes are in the best interest of the Group/Bank.
- Assist in managing the Global Covered Bonds Programme for Maybank Singapore Limited (MSL), including generating monthly reports and communicating with stakeholders, rating agencies, and investors.
- Oversee issuance activities from the Global Covered Bonds Programme.
- Lead enhancements and management of the Asset Pool Creator (APC) system, used for asset pool creation to back covered bonds and securitisation exercises.
- Assist in evaluating capital optimisation strategies for entities across the Group.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated capital strategies and proactive advisory.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent deliverables in a dynamic treasury environment
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experienced in treasury, capital management, portfolio management, or related banking functions.
- Strong understanding of capital optimisation, liquidity management, and funding strategies within a banking environment.
- Experience with covered bonds, securitisation, or asset pool management is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication (including rating agencies and investors).
- Familiarity with treasury systems and tools (e.g., Asset Pool Creator/APC) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement strategic initiatives impacting capital base and liquidity.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee issuance and system enhancements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
