Job Responsibilities
1. Assist in the trading activities of bulk commodities (coal), including sales, procurement, and market development.
2. Monitor and analyze market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and price movements, and assist in developing regional sales strategies and annual trading plans.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
4. Assist in the negotiation and execution of coal sales and purchase contracts, and support the management of trade documentation and transaction processes.
5. Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth contract execution, shipment arrangements, and timely delivery.
6. Collect and organize market information, and assist senior traders in identifying trading opportunities and expanding the customer base.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in International Trade, Finance, Economics, Energy, or related fields.
2. Strong interest in commodity trading, especially in the coal or energy sector.
3. Good communication and business negotiation skills.
4. Basic market analysis skills with the ability to track and organize market information.
5. Good English communication skills for basic business communication.
6. Proactive, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in coal, mining, energy, or other bulk commodity trading is preferred.
2. Familiarity with trade processes, shipping arrangements, and trade documentation (such as contracts, bills of lading, and shipping documents) is preferred.
3. Ability to conduct market research and analyze industry information is preferred.
