Job Responsibility:

Management of Special Projects, Strategic Initiatives and Ad-Hoc Tasks:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor special projects related to financial reporting, process improvement, compliance, and other strategic finance initiatives
  • Identify gaps in business processes and plan for process improvement initiatives and its solutions to increase efficiency in financial reporting operation
  • Innovate, measure, and monitor financial analysis model and financial KPIs for the group

Compliance and Internal Control

  • Ensure compliance and alignment with regulatory requirements and group governance framework
  • Work with internal and external auditors to support the financial audit process as required
  • Continuously implement and monitor compliance requirements in related to projects

Cross Function and Department Initiatives

  • Work closely with other functions within Finance such as Management Reporting, Budgeting, Finance Operation and Tax teams to execute and achieve project goals
  • Work with other functions outside finance including with subsidiaries on strategic initiatives undertaken at company level and group level
  • Assist in other tasks in financial and performance reporting

Others

  • Continuously drive innovation on business process improvement of the entity
  • Adhere to the department’s and company’s evolving needs and requirements from time to time
  • To carry out ad-hoc tasks as and when needed

Job Requirement:

  • Qualification: Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and a full membership with a professional accounting body such as ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, etc. will be an advantage.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

  • Skills/Competencies: Strong analytical skills, project management expertise and the ability to collaborate cross functions and department to achieve project goals and target. Proficient in advanced Microsoft office tools and application, able to work in multiple projects in fast-paced environment and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional assignment
