Title: Assistant Manager Finance

Job Purpose:
Be part of the finance team in one of the leading asset management companies. To provide accounting support to the Company and maintain daily operations of the accounting and finance functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial and Management reporting (including month end and year end closing process, preparing journals for prepayments, accruals, adjustment entries, etc)
- Head office reporting including reporting under MAS 637 notice
- Regulatory reporting including annual and ad hoc survey forms from regulators
- Perform monthly reconciliations (including bank reconciliations, subsidiary module reconciliations to trial balance, etc)
- Tax support for annual tax compliance filing to IRAS
- Management and reconciliation of soft commission book
- Assist in the generation of audit schedules for annual audit
- Any other ad hoc tasks and projects assigned
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy or finance specialization or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experiences with comparable role in a commercial environment, preferably experiences in financial institutions
- Meticulous, detail oriented and good organizational and follow up skill with high degree of initiatives and resourcefulness
- Possess integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
- Team player who can also work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, independent, mature and confident individual
- Able to multi-task and work under tight timelines and fast-paced environment
- A team player
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel and Word skills
- Experience in using a ERP system
