Job Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, audit coordination, and compliance activities within a fast-paced business environment.
This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and shared services to ensure accurate financial operations and support business growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle month-end closing and financial reporting activities with support from shared services team
- Manage General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Monitor and manage company cash flow and working capital activities
- Support annual audit, tax, and statutory compliance submissions
- Analyse financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies
- Support process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support financial planning and business decisions
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting functions
- Strong experience in GL, financial reporting, audit, tax, and tight cash flow management
- Experience in ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
- Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Candidates with strong potential may be groomed to managerial level
