Job Responsibilities:-
- Manage full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of month-end and year-end reports.
- Review the monthly closings and reports from subsidiaries to ensure compliance with Group reporting requirements.
- Perform group consolidation and intercompany eliminations, reconciliations and maintain consistency of financial data.
- Consolidate weekly, monthly and quarterly cashflow forecast for the Group. Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital requirement, ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient utilization of funds.
- Participate in preparation of Board materials, SGX announcements, business update, financial statements and annual report.
- Handle inquiries from internal and external auditors, tax agent, tax authorities.
- Prepare detailed financial statement, audit schedules and audit-related documentations.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports, annual income tax filing, withholding tax, etc.
- Liaise with company secretary for corporate finance matters.
- Assist the Financial Controller in managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts department, ensure a smooth and effective daily routine of the accounting employees.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements:-
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience with managing subsidiary accounts is highly desirable.
- Min. Diploma in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, demonstrated through effectively solving financial issues and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a Singapore-listed company environment preferred
- Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and Income Tax Acts (ITA)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Critical attributes – Proactive and hands-on leadership style, “can-do” and “roll up the sleeves” attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical abilities, process thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate availability or ability to start work within a short period is advantageous
