Role Summary
The appointee will manage full-spectrum accounting operations and month-end closing for assigned business units, prepare monthly group consolidation and both financial and management reports, and actively participate in system enhancement and finance transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and month-end closing for assigned business units
- Prepare monthly group consolidation and associated consolidation schedules
- Prepare financial analysis, management reports, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and financial PowerPoint presentations for management
- Manage audit, tax and other statutory filings in full compliance with HKFRS, IFRS and group accounting policies
- Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to assess the financial implications of business activities and recommend workflows
- Actively participate in system integration, system enhancement and finance transformation projects
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a freight-forwarding industry background and/or experience working in an MNC
- Solid hands-on experience with group consolidation under HKFRS/IFRS is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, proactive and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
