Position Overview
Graywood is an industry-leading real estate development company with a proven history of success. Graywood is focused on residential mixed‑use development in the Greater Toronto Area and other major Canadian markets. During its 40‑year history, Graywood has developed over 31,000 housing units including residential lots, low‑rise housing, mid and high‑rise condominiums, hotels, and retirement residences with a combined value of over $9.2 billion.
It currently has over 6,000 units (5.2 million sq. ft.) under development with a value of over $4.3 billion.
Due to continued growth, Graywood is seeking an Analyst to support the Investments and Corporate Reporting teams. The Analyst, Investments provides analytical and execution support for the company’s investment activities across residential condominium development, purpose‑built rental, and asset management platforms. The role is focused on preparing acquisition models, supporting due diligence, and contributing to recurring and ad‑hoc analytics. The Analyst also prepares investment materials, manages appraisals, and provides support to the Development Management and Asset Management teams.
Responsibilities
Recurring Analytics
- Maintain and update quarterly project
- Update the Graywood information tracker on a quarterly
- Assist in the preparation of institutional investor reporting (ILPA)
Ad Hoc Analytics
- Develop and test project‑level “what if” scenarios to support decision‑
- Provide financial and analytical support to Development Management and Asset Management teams as required.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and support investment and business decision‑making.
Investment Analysis & Execution
- Prepare acquisition models for potential development and income property
- Support the preparation of pitch decks, investment memoranda, and data
- Manage the appraisal process, coordinating with appraisers and internal teams.
Transaction Support
- Populate and maintain transaction data rooms
- Manage flow of information and documentation from internal stakeholders required for data room population
External Relationships
- Coordinate with external appraisers to support valuations and due
- Coordinate information requests and manage document flow with external
General
- Perform other duties, within scope of skills and capabilities, as required and where needed, to support team and organizational objectives.

Qualifications Education
- University undergraduate degree, preferably in Accounting, Commerce/Business Administration (with a Finance or Real Estate specialization), or a real‑estate‑focused graduate degree.
Experience
- Minimum 0‑2 years relevant experience preferably dealing with real estate activity
- Exposure to real estate finance, development, investment analysis, underwriting or valuations considered an asset.
Key Competencies
- Hardworking self‑starter that operates with a high degree of ethics and transparency
- Advanced capabilities using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Team player with strong project management, time‑management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage many concurrent tasks while adhering to deadlines and prioritization of tasks of importance
- Excellent financial literacy and analysis, grasping complex financial and property issues, and problem solving
- Detail‑oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated models and data sets
- Excellent written communication and verbal skills
Compensation
Compensation for the role ranges between $70,000 – $100,000 plus bonus. The final pay offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the actual qualifications and experience of the individual.
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year
