GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of an innovative maritime technology company seeking a Analyst to join their growing team in Limassol. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded analyst with a strong background in financial analysis, data analytics, and business intelligence. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing financial and operational data, identifying market trends, developing financial models, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making within a fast-growing international business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis & Business Performance
- Prepare financial analysis, profitability assessments, and performance reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and scenario planning
- Conduct variance analysis and identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities
.Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, spending patterns, and performance indicators
- Transform complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and business performance dashboards
- Support data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy across the organisation
.Business Intelligence & Process Improvement
- Design and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
- Support reporting automation and process optimisation initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop meaningful performance metrics and analytics frameworks
- Present findings and recommendations to support commercial and operational decision-making
.CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Data Analytics, or Advisory
- ACCA or ACA qualified/in progress is essential
- Previous experience within a Big 4 or professional services environment will be considered a strong advantage
- Advanced Excel skills with experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytical tools
- Strong financial modelling, reporting, and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially focused
