Responsibilities
- Prepare for and obtain the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams with dedicated study time and support.
- Learn and apply foundational advisory skills, including client acquisition, relationship building, and financial picture assessment.
- Assist clients with guidance, advice, and solutions to support their financial goals while humanizing financial interactions.
- Work in a Bank of America financial center delivering core banking, investment solutions, and client care.
- Progress through the Advisor Development Program stages, ultimately becoming a Merrill Financial Advisor.
Required Qualifications
- Confidence and experience in a sales role.
- Strong client relationship‑building skills with effective communication and collaboration.
- Proactive mindset, effective time management, and results‑driven focus prioritizing client interests.
- Ability to identify appropriate client solutions through application of learned knowledge.
- Application of relevant regulatory due diligence in daily activities and in creating long‑term client strategies.
- Completion of SAFE Act registration requirements and background check for residential loan mortgage originations.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
- Experience executing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay range: $28.85 – $33.65 hourly, based on experience, education, and skill set. The position offers a base salary only and is not incentive eligible. Benefits are applicable to this role; detailed benefit information is provided upon hiring.
