Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Senior Accountant to manage and execute a broad range of accounting functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end closing activities, compliance, and audit support. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with SEZ compliance, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and accounting adjustments.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Ensure compliance with SEZ regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions when required.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of business transactions.
  • Participate in system implementations, process improvements, and other finance-related projects.

Required Qualifications

  • CA Inter or CA Finalist (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in SEZ Compliance.
  • Experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
