A well-established organization providing services and solutions to a wide range of businesses is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role will focus on invoicing, collections, payment processing, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely cash flow management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
AR Specialist Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time

The AR Specialist will support the collections process by communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances

Record and reconcile incoming payments and ensure proper application

The AR Specialist will assist with customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Support preparation of basic accounts receivable reports for management review

The AR Specialist will maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
Qualifications of the AR Specialist Role:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred

Prior accounting or finance experience preferred but not required

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
